Amber F. McReynolds is a nationally recognized expert on election administration, policy, and innovation whose career has focused on strengthening democratic institutions and improving the voting experience for all Americans.

Amber currently serves on the U.S. Postal Service Board of Governors, where she was elected Chairwoman in 2024. Previously, she served as Director of Elections for the City and County of Denver, leading nationally recognized efforts to modernize election administration, including the implementation of a first-in-the-nation ballot tracking program that helped shape Colorado’s expansion of vote-by-mail.

Amber is the co-author of When Women Vote and serves on numerous national boards and advisory groups focused on elections and democracy. She also served on Colorado’s 2021 Independent Congressional Redistricting Commission and is Chair of the Courageous Colorado Board of Directors.

Amber holds a Master of Science from the London School of Economics and Political Science and a bachelor’s degree from the University of Illinois. She lives in Colorado with her two children, Klara and Kenton.
